Diane is delighted to offer to the theatre industry her experience at a national and international level, having worked with Sonia Friedman for twenty-five years to grow Sonia Friedman Productions (SFP) into the most prolific theatre production company in the world. Advice ranges from rights management, investment and business affairs to international transfers.
Over the past thirty-five years, Diane has worked across the subsidised and commercial theatre sectors. In her most recent position as Executive Director at SFP, she oversaw the company’s expansion from four to fifty employees and worked on over 300 productions worldwide. Diane has extensive experience in the management of productions, investment and industrial relations with a strong commitment to creative excellence, good governance and sector sustainability.

Diane Benjamin Consulting offers advice on a national and international level on rights management, business affairs, investment, co-productions and international transfers. Diane has been responsible for the investment policy and raises for all SFP's shows to date. She has worked on the rights acquisitions for all SFP productions, including major IP works such as Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and Paddington The Musical.
